Officer involved in Washington auto accident

Law enforcement officials put their lives on the line every day, even if it means putting themselves at risk of being in a Washington auto accident.

A police officer was taken to Providence Hospital’s Colby campus following a Washington auto accident, according to The Seattle Times.

The Snohomish County trooper was driving on Highway 9 near 172nd Street in the Clearview area. When the minivan in front of him stopped to make a left turn, the trooper’s motorcycle collided with the van and the trooper suffered multiple injuries. He is expected to recover.
