Plane accident kills two women in north-central Washington
Two women died in a plane accident early Saturday morning while trying to land at the Tonasket Municipal Airport, according to Yakima Herald Republic. Witnesses said the single-engine plane was on its third pass at landing when a wing hit the ground as it was banking and spun the plane into the ground. The two passengers were from Placerville, Calif., though their names were not immediately released.
